I should’ve taken a picture

My plans for the day got all messed up. The snow…

So I decided to go for a walk.  I got all bundled up and headed out, not quite sure where I was going.  Just out for a walk in the snow.  And then, well, it was coming down harder/faster/earlier than I realized. 

I don’t know what possessed me, but I decided to head towards Times Square. I usually avoid that part of town like the plague, but in that split second I thought, “I’ve never been in Times Square in the middle of a snow storm.”

I’m glad I did it. It was actually pretty beautiful. And hideous, the way Times Square always is. But it was the least crowded I’ve ever seen it. And there was something strangely  peaceful about it. Almost.
