Dog Day Afternoon on a Dog Day Afternoon. I took a few hours off yesterday to go see Dog Day Afternoon at Lincoln Center. I’d never seen it in a theater, before. SO hard to believe my eyes. There, on the big screen was the Brooklyn of my childhood. Completely gone, now. It seems like a fairytale. Or something like that.
